Boys & Girls,
3rd May we are playing our first London gig all proper like. This is what’s happening to Camden that night:
// THE NEON LIGHTS //
// THE BISHOPS //
The Bishops are a London living band but have spent the last couple of years enjoying great success across Europe. Now the band are massively excited to be coming back to the UK with a new EP and a new line-up, as the band all agree – there is no place like home. They have gone down a more alternative route, the backdrop to the songs has become more complex and challenging yet the melodies and harmonies still make up a landscaped, big sound. Catch their homecoming gig.
// SOLAR STATE //
Solar State is a musical project from three experienced songwriters and musicians in their own right, with backgrounds in classical music and production. Solar State describe their sound as a fresh take on Dream Pop, whilst creating a unique genre of their own by taking influences from folk and world music, electronica and dubstep. Mixing live instrumentation with electronics, this exciting must-see band have crafted an unmissable live show.
// IN TV //
IN TV are a brand new band currently causing a stir in the capital. Dubbed “a supergroup!” by Xfm, the band consists of musicians from south west London who combine blasting beats and shiveringly cool riffs with unadulterated, evil groove and anthemic choruses.
// RYAN KEEN //
Ryan is the best guitarist and the most talented musician you will seen in London next week, it’s a guarantee. Ryan self released his debut EP “Aiming For The Sun” in January 2010 which gained him several festival bookings, and sync deal (the title track was recently aired on the hit Canadian TV Show ‘Degrassi’).
